Mats is the son of Toto and Syrah and lives with my cousin Viktor and with his dogs Fie and Tuur. I always wanted a very dark Border Collie and when Mats was born I was v
disappointed that he was a male and not a female..
Because of his great character I wanted to keep him in the kennel but keep him myself unfortunately not an option as I'm afraid accidents might happen later!
There is such thing as co-ownership or host family. My cousin wanted a brown male from this litter so this seemed the perfect solution for both of us! If all goes well Mats will can be used as stud later!
As a puppy, Mats was always the calmest puppy of all, although he sometimes had his more active moments! He knows what he wants and goes for it!
Of course he has been living with my cousin since 8 weeks and has already changed a lot! I see him weekly and from what I can see he is growing into a sweet puppy who likes to play with other dogs and pays a lot of attention to Viktor in class! He does very well in class. We often say to him "lazy" because he is really super relaxed always and everywhere! On a walk he strolls next to or behind us, but you will not often see him far in front of us!
